Having problems connecting my xbox to my computer...please help.

I have 2 nic cards installed, one's using the internet connection, the others connected to a crossover cable straight to my xbox. i have the evox boot cd in. And im getting a msg on my computer about "Limited or No Connectivity", Im using flashFXP in order to acces my xbox HD. When i connect using flash, it says Connection failed(timed out).

when this happend to me it turned out to be a bad nic card (brand new) might be worth changing your card ... also check you dont have a firewall running

ok, The msg went away after i assigned my nic with an ip address. but im still getting connection failed when using flashfxp

Ok, nm I got it, i just chnaged ip address's and everything works great.

I made the connection with xbox but i cant transer files from xbox to Pc. I can transfer files only from Pc to Xbox. (i use Flashfxp). Please help me

check your firewall

evox gave me problems. try to use a diffrent dash such as avalaunch. after that it gave me no problems. also try using a difrent ftp program such as filezilla.
