long story short lve had some issues with games freezing. l dont believe its related to temps as they havent seemed to go over the mid 45c from what lve seen (immediately rebooted the console when l experienced the issue).

the first time it happened l put down to a game glitch which happened when l tried to return to FSD when the game glitched (Bullet Witch), tho the controller had been messing me around disconnecting (wired controller), however it happened again this time l had no issues with the controller l could perceive the game just froze about 5mins of playable time after the cut scenes (the new Metal Gear Solid game).

this is the content of my launch.ini
[QuickLaunchButtons]
Default = hdd:\FreeStyle\default.xex
[Settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true
now l have asked this question on other forums but one suggested l use simple nand flasher to dump the nand then reinsert it and post logs, problem is while l dont mind dumping the nand lm worried it might mess things up more or cause issues so l wanted a more professional opinion, even better a way to test without playing with something l dont understand.

it was also suggested some models have issues (which lm assuming is why the above was suggested) have issues that could relate to the problem, but what confuses me is after my dash update which l recently managed to sort (l eventually found out how to do it as a game required it) l played a game called Thief and l guess l spent at least 24hours playing the game (not all at once, over 2 or 3 days) with no issues whatsoever the 2 games after seemed to have issues with freezing so far in.

also fyi l tested the hard drive with seatools and both short tests passed so l dont think the SMART has tripped.

lm assuming you mean pictures, l wasnt the original modder and while l do know how to open and flash l think most of the wiring is underneath the board (l changed the fan) but lm not confident at taking it apart any further than viewing the top of the board. (as for the original modder, l had messaged him recently, but l havent heard from him tho that was on another issue).

this is what l do know based on the template post
Console Type: Jasper
NAND size: 512 (lm not certain, but l believe this is what l was told it was)
Dash ver is the latest

someone l know suggested dumping and reinserting the nand, so lm posting the log of that as well if this helps.

In order to continue support, you need to provide images and logs of the install as per the template. If the original logs are not available, images will suffice. Please understand this is first and foremost a TX Product support site.

lm not confident about opening up the console as l dont want to disturb the wiring plus l dont think there was much on the top of the board apart from what l assume to be the coolrunner, l only went in to change the fans over six months ago.

regardless does the code E79 relate to many issues? l got it on booting (l was going to download the games l had issues with and sfv check them against a re-extracted version to see if files had corrupted) and encountered it for the first time today.

about all lve done is update nand, dump it reinsert the nand to see if the logs suggested problems in the nand itself. however from what lve seen it might still be a hard drive problem. l did pop open the hard drive enclosure on my phat console and manage to access the drive so l could connect it to a sata to usb adapter allowing me to run seatools on it tho it didnt pick up any smart errors or anything on the short tests. would it be advisable to get a new xbox hard drive?
