having problems with the x3 modchip

when i set the bank to on, on, off, off, off and the flash protect off the screen for the bios doesent show up?
so if u can reply that would be wonderful.

Do you mean Flashbios screen??
You claim to have a 1.6 ...maybe its a 1.6b.
what happens if u set off,on,off,off,off?? This should boot Flashbios3.03.

If that works then you have a 1.6b

Also be very careful...if it is a b then do not flash over this 3.03 bios. (its your only copy for now)

Boot up then whilst still powered up change the switches to on,on,off,off,off before you flash with a real bios.
That way if u screw up the flash u can reset the switches and repeat.

I have a 1.6 according to xbox-scene version check method the " open the box " method

and my 1mb and 2mb bios are fooked as i originally flashed with banks 1-8 to begin with due to stupidity..

since then i can only get into bios 3.0.1 and it never works

should not matter about the bank selection...remember the switches are optional and not required.
With no switch connected or all switches off it will default to the 2M bank but the 1m bios flash will just occupy the first 1M bank.
By default the x3 loads from here too so it should have all worked

are u sure u r flashing the correct file?

boot into backup set the switches to on,on,off,off,off and reflash with X3 3294 v16plus.bin
