having some trouble flashing the bios.

Hi there. I have installed the Xecuter 3 on my xbox. Double checked all the wiring Since I have ver 1.0 I had to use the wired method. No worries though it came up to the flash screen when booted.

I am flashing over the network. the xbox gets an ip and I am able to flash with 3.0.3 but after reboot it looks exactly the same. I get the flash screen 3.0.0. Is this right? From what I have read, after I flash with the new bios it should come up with the xbox logo and the Xecuter logo on the bottom. and I should be able to configure it further.

Any advice would be apreciated.

Hey you better read a little more before you start getting flamed. The answer to your question is in one of the stickies posted on your right on the home page. Look there and you will find it.

If you flash your old flashbios with a new flashbios what do you think you will see? maybe flashbios? Think about it

Anyway the answer is to use the X3 1959 bios to flash your chip with and the switch panel should be set to: on on off off off before you flash

Before you ask the obvious next question:

Check the "usual places". Go to xbox-scene.com and search for xbins. Make sure you have an IRC client and an FTP client available.

New update 19/01/11 abgx ?for halo reach and cod black ops

this new update is for the big games, will go to a black screen, you get 3 minutes to turn off the xbox before you get caught. Most other games are ok it seems they have only targeted big titles.
Anyone know if there will be a new abgx comming out and how lon it normally takes?

As for the black sceen . The black screen was built into LT+ to prevent the console logging a AP2.5 breach if you leave it for 3mins then you should get that disk unreadable message and a flagged console. If you shut down the console within 3mins it should be fine
