HD change.

Ok, Once upon a time, I got a 1.0 xbox, put an xecuter 2.3b pro in it, and a 160 Gig HD. Now I have another xbox, a 1.6, which will soon have an xecuter 2.6 in it. I would like to put my old HD back in the 1.0 and put the 160 Gig in the 1.6 (without formatting it). It is currently unlocked.

Is it as simple as removing it from the 1.0 and putting it in the 1.6? Then maybe copying the latest m$ dash data to the c:\

Note, I think the M8 Bios has problems with a Large F:, but I have a f:g: setup on the 160 anyways.

well, the Serial number signified my box was a 1.6. In reality when I opened it, I discovered that it is a 1.4. I simply moved the HD into my new box, and voilla. It works fine.
