HD Game Booting trouble

I have an Xecuter 2.6 chip & im recently having trouble playing some games from my Hard Drive.

I copied the games to my hard drive and played them fine for ages, but recently some have stopped working properly.

Some fail to boot altogether, crashing. While other games seem to boot and have sound but no picture.

If anyone knows of this problem, what caused it, and how to resolve it, i would be Xtremely grateful.

Do the originals work? If so, try reripping them.

Some of the originals work, but some discs have become scratched where i foolishly lent them out, and therefor dont copy correctly anymore.
Do you know why this has only happened recently, why its certain games, and what the problem could be?

What happens when you try to boo them? Do you get an error or a black screen? What bios do you have? What dashboard?

When i boot them, i get a blank screen as if the xbox was switched off, and i can hear the sound. It seems like they are loading, but the picture signal is not being sent. its v.weird and xtremely annoying. I really hope someone can help!?!

Cheers dude. It had been changed to Auto. I changed it to default & they worked! Yaaay!
