HD Woes

I have a Xecuter 2.6 chip on a v1.0 xbox and for some reason the hard drive will not spin up if i have the ide cable connected to the board.....if i disconnect the ide cable from the board and power on the xbox the HD spins right up....please help!!!

p.s ive tried a different cable and it does the same thing

what error number when chip disable

it dosent even boot into error screen im guessing because the hd isnt starting - it just turns on and off 2x and then i get a flashing red light
