GENERAL HDD Backup Tools

Hi all, after a monster search with no luck so far including here. I am looking for tools that will allow me to backup my internal x360 HDD 250gb. It's on the verge of failing. I have used the tools to make a new HDD for it but can't find any major tools that will copy "clone" the HDD. I did do a RGH to the 360 to get keys from the 360, but I have returned it to stock so I can go on xBox Live.

So any help along with a tutorial would be great, if no tutorial exists I will look at making one for this purpose.

Also from best of my knowledge, FTP can only be done from a Hacked 360, I DO NOT want to put the Proto Slim back in and hack again.

So any help with this would be great

If it's failing, you're better to just use something like Party Buffalo USB Drive explorer (with a USB transfer kit) and grab the \Content\xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx folders from it. You don't need the 0000000000000000 folder as they'll be installed content, downloads and purchases, things you can reinstall and download again later.

Does the \content hold game progress etc. Don't really want to redo some games.

Also Just found this, is FATXplorer any good?

There are subfolders in \Content\. The 0000000000000000 is installed content. all others are profiles and save games. Provided you can dump these, you'll be fine.
