I bought this hdd from best buy a while ago (https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/produc...010bbk-wesn-black-wdbynn0010bbk-wesn/10482122). It's formatted in fat32.
I tried to play overcook 2 (xci) with it but it's not working. I put the game on my sd card to see if I just found a bad dump but it's working from there. Then I tried installing the game from my HDD and that is working as well but I don't want to install it, I want to play the game directly from my external hard drive. When I try to load the game so the switch sees it as a cartridge, it's just a black screen and nothing at all is happening.
Do I just have a bad external hard drive? Maybe trying in exfat would work? Or maybe I should use the stable version of sx os?
edit : actually it says install failed when i try to install a game
