Hello!

Now when i've RGH's a slim Xbox 360, i just can't get one HDD to work. Until then i thought that any SATA HDD would work on jailbroken console.

The HDD i'm trying to use is WD7500BFCX, NASware 3.0. All other random HDDs i've tried are working, but not this.

Any suggestions what to do?
There is nothing on the HDD. It works good on the PC. I formatted it to FAT32, but still no success.

Oh, i forgot to tell, whick i thought was obvious; The console itself wont work with that HDD, there comes error 71. Or atleast i think it's error 71, since while on the non-modded side(using demon), it brings error 71 on the screen and red light on console, while on modded side it just gives red light on console.
And i'm using internal.

I think what PlayingMax is getting at, is you need to troubleshoot the issue... Try using a different HDD, if that HDD works then it might have to do with that WD 750Gb drive. Are you sure the drive works? Have you ran any hardware diagnostic tests on it? Have you tried hooking it up to your computer and formatting it?

As i pointed out in the first post, all my other HDDs are working on Xbox 360 but not this one.
And i'm sure that the drive works. No bad sectors etc. And like i said on the first post, i formatted it to FAT32.

Hm, i have formatted all HDDs with UDisks previously, but now when i formatted this HDD with Gparted(and added the "msdos" whick i think makes no difference), it worked on the console, and i was able to format it on the console successfully.
But now when i reboot the console, the same error comes.
Strange. Smells like connector issue. But still it works perfectly on PC and other HDDs work perfectly on console...

did you try this HDD on other consoles?
there are maaany ways to modify the internal Western Digital software using WD Marvell 2.3, but I have no idea what is the reason of problem -_-

if you have Trinity console, it's possible to connect this disk with USB adapter instead of internal 4GB memory (with the same features as regular internal HDD, w/o size limit, even on retail)

I don't have other consoles to try it. And i already decided that it takes too much time to troubleshoot this problem, so i'll just sell another working HDD to the customer.
