JTAG HDD, do i need one.

Alright,
soon will be have RGH console,
connected via lan to my pc, and already using MU for profile/save data.

Want to know:

- do i really need a HDD directly connected[usb/hdd_dock] to a console, or if it's jtag-ed, i don't need to worry about it, since all content will be access-able via lan cable ?

- or HDD is needed for some specific functions that MU is not capable even on jtag-ed console.

I'm not familiar with all capabilities of jtag console on playing games[god, extracted, dlc, xbla], so i will apreciate any useful information.

ConnectX is good but from what I hear but it isn't quite there yet because games tend to lag.

Let say connectx in perfect working condition,
do i still need hdd for something that i can't do without hdd.

My point:
- i have always running pc with large storage and MU in console for storing some system/profile data.
- so i don't want to bother with another hdd in console to transfer back-in-for, and if it's only about storing, i can use my pc shared folder.

- or i miss something and hdd give me some advantage ?

got connectX[works],
got 250G HDD[original MS]

and for full RGH experience HDD is highly recomended.
