Hdd Error Code!!!!

not really a newbie had an excuter 2.3 b put in 160 gig focus video. my 2.3 broke so i bought an x3 did wire install because power eject on the x3 somehow shorted out my xbox. long story short had to buy a new one. i put in the x3 flashed it with 2913 bios it booted up correctly says rock my box burn slayers auto 2.5 but my problem when i try to boot the put in the 160 gig i get an error code dont no if im suppose to install slayers to regular retail hdd first then put the hardrive in or what. tried putting slayers in and powering the xbox up with the new drive in but keep gettin error code. i tried to put the drive in then boot it in cromwell it says something like hdd partion error. i dont think the maxtor gig is broke either. COULD BE EPROM SETTINGS DONT KNOW IF ITS BECAUSE HDD NEEDS TO BE LOCK OR UNLOCKED


any help will be helpful!!!!

Whatever possessed you to post the SAME thing in 5 different forums is beyond me.

There's a search button on this forum - use it. You haven't a clue as to what you're doing so get reading.

thanx for the advice no need to power trip! i just really wanted sum help this is stressing me out! but you really not helping by calling me a total noob because if you read it in five diffrent places then that means you had five opportunities to help me out so you kinda not helping my problem with you reply vital information i need to get my hhd ready some help would would have been helpful because its not like im done still need help!
