I current in my xbox have the original HD.

I now have purchased a 160 gig HD.

I have an X3, with X3_1957 BIOS

Evox installed, 3935.

I know how to format the drive, I have the backup disc made, I know how to switch over the drives, all that.

The only thing is, the LBA48 support.

I really do not know what to do here and am lost. Any help is appreciated.

Okay now I just did something pretty stupid.

I deleted my Evox files, hoping that I could go back to the original bios dashboard screen to enable the LBA48 and what not.

Bad idea. It keeps booting me to the MS dashboard.

I tried doing a new flash(Holding eject and power to turn on), and reflash the chip with the original bios I loaded. But it still is going to the MS dashboard everytime I boot up!

=(

its all built into X3CL. just make a copy of the original C: and E: folders. slap in the new HDD and format it. the options should be pretty self-expanatory once you get the BIOS loaded and X3CL to come up.

holding the white button during start up should boot you back to config live so you can change the lba48.

Okay I got it all setup. Wasnt to hard.

But now my BIOS boots first, then I have to boot to Dash, then boot my choice of game.

So you say holding white will boot my bios screen? GREAT! Wish I would of knew that earlier =)

the option to boot straight to dash is also in X3CL.
