HDD Limit?

Hi was wondering how many external HDDs can be connected to a jtag console?

Via USB?
There is no limitation in the size, but the HDD has to be FAT32 or HFS+

I bought some very cheap 500 gig laptop drives (must be 9mm thick and no more) and retro fitted them into the original caddies just neater than having an external drive
cant remember price but it was around the £40 mark

I have a 2TB External at the moment but can i add more and piggy back them via a usb adapter?

On my jtag i have a 1tb laptop hdd in the m$ caddy, and 2 external hdd's via usb.

If i try to connect another usb storage device iether hdd or flash it does not recognise in xexmenu or freestyle's file manager, this is due to the microsoft 2 device limit, so the max number of external usb based storage is 2x but any size as the 16gb cap does not aplly to jtags so you can have 2x 2tb hdd's hooked up and will work just fine.

That's what I thought. I'm struggeling to fill my 500gb drive...

I bought 500 gig on a price size trade off and havent filled it yet
can you get 2Tb laptop drives 9mm thick, i did see 1Tb ones but they where a bit too expensive at the time

Sorry but the biggest 2.5 Hdd's at the moment are 1TB,
well thats the biggest ive seen anyway lol

2.5 -9.5mm is the limit for the caddy and think 750gig is the limit at the mo but can do the caddy hack to fit a 1tb with a bigger mm thickness.
