Hello all, I have a external HDD that I want to store my backups of my games to be use on Free style dash. I saw different post on partitioning with fat 32 ( for back ups) and ntfs for general use. Anyone have other ways (best) to partition. The drive will only be used for backups nothing else! I saw some post for partitioning a 32g MU (memory unit), I'm assuming this is done through xbox? I have partition program on laptop just want to do it right.
Thanks

I use an external HDD formatted to fat 32 only and store all my games, emulators etc on it. I use a small internal 60gb HDD for my fsd, profile, games saves, dlc etc. That wud be the best way to go in my opinion.

Yeah you can partition the external drive as you like. The xbox will only see the fat32 sector. I do this on a few of my drives to allow for 4gb + size files on the ntfs partition.
