hdd question

hi guys im planning to buy an external hdd for my xbox 360 and im planning to use it to play my xbox 360 games but i also wanna use it to store other files

can i just put all my xbox iso games on a folder then create a new folder for my files? or do i have to create a partition, one for the xbox and one for other use,

the partition you plan to use for x360 has to be fat32,and ofc that wont hold a file over 2gb.............

so can't i just format it to fat32 then add an xboxfolder folder for the iso, then another folder for storage?

use freestyle and dashlaunch for this problem.also you can create folder for game xbob 360 and playing.

thanks man, i already got free style im just afraid that if i put files other than xbox 360 iso, free style might not detect the external hdd anymore

you would need 2 drives, one for playable games (fat32) and one to store the ISO files on (NTFS).

I thought you had to extract the ISO files, or convert them to GOD format before the xbox could play them.
