You should be fine, man, I think I just got crazy unlucky. And on a side note, UPS came yesterday with my HD (WD 2nd day air shipped it). And it came with the postage to get my dead one back to them. I already have it working and my box back together. So an unpleasant experience has now transformed into an inconvienience.

And to let this thread die, I emailed WD yesterday and they sent me back a response saying they had heard of this before. They proceeded to say that they apologized for the inconvience, and would pay me for shipping a new one from them and to send my old one back. w00t!
