Hi i have a 5tb External HDD, with 2TB (600 xci ) games. every time i going to SX OS to select a game, SXOS read the folder and i must wait a long time, i think if i organize the games in subfolders (categories) SXOS read the games in HDD faster. Are you working in something like this??

The drive might be slow reading. 5tb is crazy big and I bet it’s not a SSD either.

Are you using these directories:

Added in SX OS 2.3 Beta:

  • Added more directories to scan for content
By popular demand we have added yet another list of subdirectories that will be scanned on your microSD card (or USB harddisk) for XCI/NSP/homebrew. The directories that have been added are:
    • – /sxos/updates
    • – /sxos/dlc
    • – /switch/updates
    • – /switch/dlc

Added in SX OS 1.5:

  • More content directories
Some people complained that they didn't like all the XCI/NSP/NRO files in the root of their SD card. We have to agree that becomes a bit messy, so the menu will now scan the following directories as well looking for game content:
    • /sxos/games
    • /sxos/xci
    • /sxos/nsp
    • /sxos
    • /switch/games
    • /switch/xci
    • /switch/nsp
    • /switch
the hdd is Seagate Backup Plus, USB 3.0
I use those directories.

I know i have a lot of games +600.

On my storage I'm using a 0-A to Z subfolder-system (of course not working on the Switch)...it would be great to just select any folder like in an file explorer...is there any homebrew btw?
