HDDHackr with USB

So I was planning on using HDDHackr so I could use a 250 GB drive for my Xbox (as shown in this guide) but I don't have an available SATA port that I can use. So I was wondering if I could use a SATA to USB adapter or an enclosure and still have the process work the same way?

Thanks

Thanks! Also, are there any alternatives to HDDHackr? I know that it is limited to Western Digital drives. I have an RGH xbox and don't care about playing Xbox 1 games. I just want to have a bigger drive so I can play more 360 games off of the hard drive.

Any 2.5" drive is suffice (I've seen people use 2TB drives), simply format it with the console or to FAT32 and away you go ;).
