hddss.bin file not found

hiyer new here first post ..
been trying to flash my wd harddrive .ive done everything ok up to the point when i press f in the ms dos it prompts me to type hddss.bin .
But after that comes an error message saying hddss.bin file not found ..i typed in dir and the file is there.
any help would be appreciated ..

Check the name of the file your putting in the HDDHACKR command line is the same as you downloaded. Or in the same path as HDDHACKR.

Thats your problem...

doesn't exist, you need a Western Digital drive as well.

unless your xbox is RGH, then just put the HDD in and format it in the dashboard

so only wester digital drive works ??? too bad i have many drives but none wd driver :/ so i will buy.....if i buy where i find HDDSS.BIN file ?

basically right now i find one western digital !!!! my girlfriend is the best <3 hehe ,,,,,,,,,,so i need the hdds.bin file a link guys ?

I actually wasn't able to find them in the downloads section on this site, and the X360USB website links to 360mods which appears to have been deleted or moved elsewhere.

Google was the only other route.

If a mod wants to add them back into the downloads section, or notify the admin of the x360usb website it would be appreciated, not sure where to go with the info

I got this text in my email notification, probably what was originally posted before your edit.
You can't use a 160gb HD in a retail console because there has never been a retail console with a 160gb hard drive. You will need to flash a 120gb hdss.bin to the drive, and you'll only be able to see/use 120gb. if you are RGH/JTAG though, you do not need to do this.
