So seeing that a new update was released I am happy to see how active and thriving the Xecutor team is ! On another note as I patiently wait for the 7.0 update I just wanted to ask if anyone would be so kind to tag or provide the links to all the guides I will need.
I know I have to do a backup with hekate before anything else, and I guess from there plug in my executor pro dongle?
I'm very noobish and apologize if I'm coming off as unintelligent but I just want to get this right.
Once I boot up SX os for the first time with a fresh system and sd card and all do I just proceed to download things directly or will I have to do so by placing them in the SD card prior?
I don't plan on using internet at all on the switch and will be keeping it in airplane mode, am I missing something? Thank you to any and all willing to point me in the right direction!!! ??️?

Main thing is making the backup. You can use the SX bootloader or hekate to do that. As a note the Switch does not support exFAT out of the box and is honestly not recommended to use as the Switch handles it poorly can becomes corrupt easily.

As for managing your backups, there are many ways. You can manually copy them by powering off the Switch, removing your SD card and plugging into your computer, you can setup an FTP server on your computer and connect to that with the SX Installer or you can even enable the FTP function in the Album menu and connect from your PC to copy or remove files.

Thank you I understand how important the backup is will make sure to do that before anything else !!
Can I use my SX pro now at all? Or do I have to wait for 7.0? I know everyone says it's best to wait but what is it exactly I'm waiting for ? Sorry for being a nuisance ?

You are not being a nuisance. This forum is for people "in the know" to help others out. I am not "in the know" but I'm learning. When you ask if you can use SX Pro now - what firmware is your Switch on?

Oh - by the way - TGIF

No worries. Like noms said everyone is here to help and learn. The mod team tries to stay on top of things the best we can to keep everything friendly. If you see anything don't be afraid to report it ;)

As your question on waiting, I have the same question as noms. What firmware is you Switch currently on? At the moment SX does not support the newest 7.0/7.0.1 Switch FW. That is most likely the "waiting" people are talking about. TX does not really give ETA(which is understandable), but I imagine it won't be much longer before 7.0 is supported. There are a lot of moving parts of SX that need to be tested before updates are released to the public.

That is the right way to go. I would not recommend downgrading especially since your Switch is working and just waiting on the SX update.
