hey i need help my hitachy drive 0078 will not get detecded in windows any help

Are you using slax? What chipset do you have? Do you have the most current drivers for that chipset?

Well yes I did it with slax 2.1 yes I have the via 6421 and I dowloaded the drives but don't know how to install it....also I did gat deteced once bute when I was about to start computer frozesss nonono any ides and please reply I wanna be able to do this
