Hello I need some help

Hello I need some help. I have never done this before\
and I first need to know, do I have to have the keys to get my Xbox to play my own copied games. I have already bought an unlocked DG-16D5S Drive and I have also bought the PCB board for the drive and the new DGX v1.1S. First question is can I just flash my unlocked drive with Jungle Flasher without finding the keys, or do I have to install the DGX V1.1S to find the keys and then flash the drive with the PCB board and Jungle Flasher. If I have to do that can someone show me a link or something were it shows exactly how to solder the wires from the DGX V1.1S to my motherboard. I believe it is a Trinity Motherboad. I have been looking on TX's website and online and I cannot find it. All I can find is how to install the DGX V1.0s and not the DGX V1.1s. I have bought an already unlocked Liteon DG-16D5S and i had a Liteon DG-16D4S locked drive originally on my xbox 360 slim 250gb. Do I need the keys if I already have the drive unlocked. Can I just flash it without getting the Keys. Please help me.

You see I am very new at this and I didn't know exactly what I needed. I bought an Unlocked DG-16D5S Drive and installed on my Xbox 360 slim 250gb, but when I tried to play a game that I copied it started to load and then disconnected me from Xbox live, and then it goes back to the main screen and reconnects me to the Xbox live, I have even tried to play the original game that was not a copy and it did the same thing. Now I do know I had originally a DG-16D4S Liteon Drive but I bought a DG-16D5S drive. Now I don't know for sure if that is the reason it doesn't load my games right or not. But I thought they were the same drives just had a different number on them.

If you have a Liteon DG-16D4S you can use the new board you get and program it as a Liteon DG-16D4S with the LTU 1.2 firmware.

Alright doesn't the Keys only give you the ability to unlock the drive. If I already have an unlocked drive can't I just flash it and install the latest firmware. That is truly what I would like to know

PM me and I will try to help you. You clearly have way too little knowledge regarding DGX and Flashing and the members are going to eat you alive for not having read and understood the basics

OK, lets try and sort this out.

If you are just flashing the drive, and you have a standard Lite-On drive in your machine, then you really only need to read the key using JF and a X360USB Pro. Get that key and flash it to your replacement PCB.

The DGX is for when you are trying to RGH/Glitch a 360 and you want your DVD Key, if you have lost it, or want to turn it full RGH, in which case, you would not need a replacement PCB, as you can just add an external HD and extract your games onto there.

You need to let us know exactly what model drive you have in your 360
You need to tell us exactly what you expect the end product to do. i.e. RGH, Dual Nand, or just play you Game backups
You also need to read the guides and stickies as to what product does what

Alright all I want is for my Xbox 360 to play burned games. I already have bought from a store online an UNCLOCKED DG-16D5S Drive. So as far as I can tell it does not need a new PCB board. I guess all I need to do is Hookup my Drive to my computer and flash it with the latest firmware. And it should be able to play the burned games. Am I correct in that. As for where to put this message I was told to put it here.

You need the DVD key from the original drive. Just flashing the firmare does not work, each key is unique to each Xbox 360.

That is why i said about reading your drive's key and then flashing the PCB

What actual drive do you have in your xbox at the moment.

I have the unlocked DG-16D5S. Is there any software out there that can get the key for me

I have heard of soft modding but I don't know if that really works or not

If you have a DG-16D4S then you should have just bought a T-X replacement PCB for the 16D4S and then used JungleFlasher to get the dummy.bin from your existing drive. It's all documented in the JungleFlasher PDF.
