Hello - Just a few questions

Hello, id like to say this site is great, i think ive got most of the information needed for me to flash my samsung today.

Im just abit curious about a few things, When i have the xbox 360 open and connected to my pc how should i ground myself safely? I have an anti static wrist band, would this be fine to use on its own? if not, what did you use?

One more question, am i right in saying that right now the iXtreme 1.2 rev C firmware will NOT boot an unsecured backup and currently Xbox Live cannot detect backups with the correct security sectors.

A.) Probably a smart idea. Ground the DVD drive to the PC also.

B.) Yes, that is correct...as of now anyway with XBL. Who knows what the future brings

What would be a good way to ground the dvd drive to the pc? Could you post how you did it? Sorry im just paranoid that i will fry my console and pc !

Thin piece of wire with alligator clips, like this:

Probably costs around $3 total for both at Home Depot and you just need to crimp the clips on the ends.
