help 3 red lights

I have searched and have not found a fix yet. I have 3 red lights flashing on my 360 and when I push the synch button and hold and push the eject button to get the error code it is 0001. That is a power supply problem. When I turn on the 360 the power supply light flashes red then orange and stays at orange. I have tried this power supply on another 360 and it goes from orange to green when powering on the 360. I flashed my drive a few weeks ago and have had no problems till now.

The other night I brought it to a friends and we had it on for around 2 hours. He did hit the sync button a few times because my wireless controller kept turning off. I changed the batteries twice and it finally stayed on. I have never used the sync button and wouldn't think that could mess anything up. When we finished I unplugged it and brought it home. The next day I hooked it up and the 3 red lights flashing started.

I voided my warranty so I cant use that. Will they still fix it if I pay? Would a local computer shop be able to trouble shoot and fix it? What should I do?
Please help. Its not even a month old yet.
Oh, and I tried the unplugging procedure from the support website.

Hmm, that is very odd. The first thing I would be doing is taking a look at your connectors, make sure nothing got bent or there isn't something shoved in somewhere it shouldn't be. I'd also take a look at the power connections on the underside of the motherboard. There's a possibility that, from all the unplugging, a solder joint could have cracked and needs resoldering. Apart from those, I wouldn't really know where to begin.

Thanks textbook. I exchanged it for another and now have to learn how to flash hitachi drives.
