Im still learning how to get all this stuff working and Im having a problem accessing my evox dashboard when booting the xbox. Here is what i have done so far. First I installed a 80gig HD by following the tutorial. I did that a long time ago, but never could access the extra memory because I didnt have a modchip installed. Last week I bought a Executor 2.6ce and programmer. I installed the chip and the switch with no problems and was on my way. I ran into problems with flashing the wrong bios, so i used the programmer to fix the problem. I now have the EvoX's M8 bios for my Xbox V1.3. I made sure to get the bios for the 1.3 and not the one for the 1.6. All went well with the flash and I now have my xbox up and running. The switch works properly and it seems to be doing good. My main issue is trying to get to the Evox dashboard. When i have the chip enabled and startup the xbox it gives me the xbox logo in green and the evox logo in purple on the upper left corner of the screen. Thats the only indication that its working properly. Ive been trying desperately to ftp to the xbox using every tutorial i could find and i still cant get an active connection. i know its connected because in the cmd prompt i can ping the IP address, just always get connection refused message. Im using windows xp and im not sure if thats the problem or not?

Is there any way to access the evox dashboard from my xbox without ftping? Maybe the EvoX's M8 bios is just that bios???? Is there a dashboard associated with this or no? Can i install a dashboard with a cd and dummy file or what? Im really confused on what my next step is. The best i could do was get to the evox dashboard using the james bond hack and still it doesnt do me any good. Please help....im very lost....Thanks in advance.

you need to make a boot cd with evox dash and load it up onto your box
then ftp to your box and transfer the dash files over to your hdd

you should get the X2 5032 bios as it has way more features and reliable
if you don't have flashbios on your chip anymore you can use a program called FlashX to flash another bios to your chip

the X2 5032 bios comes with an ini file where you can edit various settings
