Help Aladdin XT modchip bios will not load

I tryed to get X3_1959 to load keeps say "Got BIOS image over http. 1048576 Unknown flash! Halting". i load flashBios 3.0.3 on it xbox v1.5

"You need to make sure the flash
protection is set to off"
How do I do That

1MB Bios Banks
Bank 1234: on on off off <---What the hell is up with that
Bank 5678: off on off off

So what modchip do you have? X3 or Aladdin XT?

Also, get an updated version of X3 - 1959 is very outdated now.

your try to put a square peg into a round hole
the x3 bios is only for the x3 chip
you can use the x2 bios if you wish to use that as long as it will fit to your chip it is 512k insize the x3 is 1mb so your chip may not take 1mb bios find out if your chip takes 1mb or 512k or 256k bios but x3 will not work
x2 5035 v1.0 to v1.5 xboxs
x2 5035 v16 plus for v1.6 v1.6b xbox

The WHITE aladdin XT modchip comes flashed with FLASHBIOS that allows you to flash your modchip with a hacked bios , you should flash it with a compatible bios once you get it booting. You will need to download the bios from xbinsand then rename it to bios.bin.

XBox V1.0 - V1.5 Use X2 4981.06 bios (256k).

XBox V1.6 - V1.6b Use Evox M8 Plus V16 (256k).

Check this guide on how to burn the bios disc. Do not use the X3 bios !

The message in plain english means, the bios file size is wrong.
Flash protect is normally a switch on or a switch externally the chip.
Aladdin chips, I'm not too familar with anymore...

These are X3 chip switch settings... you can't do that I guess.

The X3 Bios is 1MB, the Aladdin XT only has 256KB? I don't think it would ever fit on it.

You need to use a compatible bios as everyone has stated.

I don't think you need that at all.
You need a bios that will work your modchip.
FlashBIOS is just a tool used for flashing another bios. That version of flash bios won't do much difference except allow you to screw up or fix your xbox's eprom.

Read about #xbins and get a bios that will work on your xbox.
