Help, chip installed but don't get any screen!

We believe we have successfully installed our X3 SE modchip on our version 1.0 x-box but now when we press the power button the X lights up red and the box shuts on and off twice, then our light blinks red/green and we are stuck with a black screen. What is our problem? Currently all of our exterior switches are in the original position.

is your hd unlocked? X3 control panel being red means it's running in it's disabled mode. Prolong press of power button will disable your X3. You need to press power button only briefly and X3 cp should light blue. Besides that, you need to change your switches to on on off off off to be able to start flashing your X3 chip (if you haven't already).

an egg i am having the same problem it is not the bios bank switches and i am not prolonging the press on the power button what is it ?

Clarence, The Frag you experiencing is due to either a bad solder point or a bad bios flash. If you have tried to flash, then load backup and start again (with the right bios) If you haven't gotten to flashbios yet, then you need to check your soldering. Have you got 2 blue led's on your chip?

yes i have two blue lights and i have not flashed the bios yet could this possibly have any thing to do with the do point? also the box i have is a v1.6

Not likely to be D0 i don't think. Test continuity for all points on your LPC rebuild, and make sure you removed pin 6 on the pin header.
