HELP! erase failed

ive just installed a xecuter 2.6 chip.i then started it up and it goes to the cromwell bios screen ok. the problem is when i try to flash the it(from disk or C drive) it always comes up with erase failed at the bottom of the screen near the progress bar(ive tried it about 20 times).

has anyone had this problem or can anyone help????

Make sure the cable connecting the X2.6 and the switch is connected properly at both ends. The error you're describing usually happens when the plug isn't in 100%.
