have tried all day to jtag a falcon m/b,using jtag tool(latest) read nand 4 times all say matching but have error250 reading block 135,when searching for answer someone said it is ok when i flashed freeboot i get error 202 programming 135 and when i try to start, the new dash screen starts to load and then flicks over to bottom right red e71 error,i tried it with what i think is remapped because it says 135 remapped to 3ff with still the same result i have tried to fumble my way remapping with degrader, nand compare badblock mover jtag tool but still end up with error202programming block 135 and the e71 error when dash starts to load up,can someone help me step by step(noob talk) into remapping the nand because i think with the 202 error on135 i am not remapping the nand correctly,or is it something else regards:mad:

Try creating freeboot from your NAND image without remapping the bad block. I'm guess you already updated your dash to 7371 before dumping the NAND and you also obtained your CPU key?

Are you using the standard DB1F1 & ROL or alternate points?

Try using the alternate points (audio_clamp & open_tray).

Only if your dash was older than 7371 when you dumped it. If it is, the flash back your old NAND, update to 7371 and then re-dump again. However if it's already on 7371 then there is no need.

well tried alternate way and still the same 250 at 135 but instead of e71 it now goes directly to e79 think i will klean board up and rewire can anybody talk me through this remapping proceedure as i am just doing it hit and miss and what result do i expect if i have remapped ok does it start reading the nand with no errors or what, also what is the best wiring method default jtag or alt clamp and open tray regards:mad:

Here we go .. Upload your original NAND dump to mediafire and PM with the link along with your CPU key. Let me examine first.

Just examined the NAND you gave me the link for, are you sure you dumped it at least 3 times and checked all 3 for mismatching blocks? Cause it seems to me that NAND image is corrupt.

right m8 used nand i sent you and found out it was corrupt my box thought it had become a indian takeaway it had that many nands(bread)on it so dumped my original nand and it fired up ok and took another 4 dumps all saying the same as my first thread will hold it there until you revue the proper nand dump and cpu serial.the dump is at
http://www.mediafire.com/?1ux111ak4a24z1z

p.s. dont foget to tell me which wiring diagram to follow regards

Hi m8 cleaned up points and used your freeboot.bin, using aud and open tray points it starts loading with the swirling dash and then goes to e71.i will try freeboot without a remapped nand also will it help if i put a resistor between points 4 and 7 also what are your views or pointers on how to go about this. This is a good learning curve for me regards:(

Hello manwitnoname what i have done since last thread
1. as stated box boots with 9199.bin as far as xbox360 logo and freezes tried 330 and 470 resistors still same freezes. when reading other forums some people where having probs with jtool 2.75 and coolshrimp posted a 2.76 beta but is not official. also read that you(sorry if wrong) advised someone to write new freeboot using 9199.bin.
this is what i have tried:-
9199-freezing on 360 logo w/wout resistors
freeboot from original nand e79 w/wout resistors

freeboot from 9199 e79 w/wout resistors
freeboot with best pig e79 w/wout resistors
in all cases i get msg error 202 programming block 135. so it looks like the nearest is freeboot 9199 which i have reverted back to do you have any more pointers please regards:mad:
