Help error 6

ok im new but ive read and read and need some help installed my x3 chip on a 1.6 xbox booted up with fashbiso 3.0.0 set it to flash the new 1959 bios flashed fine it shut off now when it comes on i get a error 6 witch i think is cant unlock HD i booted back up with flash bios and it says "unable to read HDD first sector setting partion table" i tried to use the unlock function and it shut off the xbox but same error when i reboot so i then pluged in my new drive and it seems to boot fine and will let me set her up. But help me if im worng i need files off the orgional to make it so i can boot with out the chip for xbox live right??? thats the only reason.. Thanks for the help in advance... If there is a gudie that i missed im sorry if you could point me too it i would be gald to read it

Go download one of the "auto-installers". Slayer's install is pretty easy to find on the web and its really easy to use. (go search the web, its easy to get on irc)

Just burn a cd, boot it, and hit install. It will format your new harddrive and set everything up for you.

As far as your old HD not unlocking. No clue. Is it the original drive that was in your xbox before you modded?

orginal drive i have the auto install your talking about but dont i need the Stock files off the orginal drive in order to make it work?

opps im a true dumb ass i took two xbox's apart at the same time i bet i mixed up the orginal drives and thats my issues ill let you know if so

Please help me someone..

Can someone please help me.. I am having so many problems.. I agreed to fix my mates xbox and 1 is mine,,

xbox 1.. Its keeps changing from the 3 rings to 1 ring "e74 error" every time i try the thermal fix. I have tried different thermals, screws, washers etc. I have tried everything and it still doesnt work.. Managed get green lights once but it froze 10 mins into it and nothing since. except the same 3 rings etc..

Xbox 2.. Nothing is happening, I have tried different power bricks etc, looked at the motherboard and it doesnt look damaged. It just wont boot, No fans nothing. Its like pressing the power button without power lead in it.. There is absolutly nothing happening

Xbox 1: get it reflowed or preferably the best idea is get the chips reballed with leaded solder balls.

Xbox 2: Might be shorted out, check what light is on the power brick when you plug the system in.

what? sorry but I have no Idea what this means.. how do I get it reflowing? i have brought new heatsinks and Still only 3 rings.. Thing is now I am never getting 1 ring. Only 3.. It doesnt really over heat too. I have leave it alittle too long before it changes to 2 lights. and I worry because its increadibly hot, But once cooled, back to 3 rings

also What do you mean by Solder balls?

The power brick Doesnt change.. its orange when xbox is unpluged and orange when I plug it in and Try turn it on... The light doesnt change at all.. I have also checked the USB make sure all things are ok.. or something like that. looked on internet and it says something about check USB
