Hi all, I have an xbox v1.4 moded with the Xecuter 3 chip. I have recenlty upgraded to a Samsung SP1203N 120GB hard disk.

3 out of 4 times i turn on my Xbox i will get screen with green text saying error code 07.

The table below says that its related to the hard disk. Can anyone help me find and solve the problem?

Thanks.

7 - kernel - HDD timeout
[Details]

Most of the times, the IDE cable is not properly connected when you see this error. Please reattach the ide cable.
Not only to the harddisk drive but also to the dvd drive. ALso try to reconnect the ide cable to the motherboard.
Press pretty hard so it goes all the way in. Make sure it is seated straight and proper in the drives and the motherboard.
If you still have an error 7. Try another ide cable. If that won't work try another harddisk. If there is still no go, try to
set the jumpers on the rearside of the harddisk drive. Set it to master or cable select. If still no succes,
good luck and sell your xbox to me rolleyes.gif

Re: Stealth status is uncertain

you need to run it through abgx with the option to add splitvid if it doesn't exsist, and it needs to be ssv1, not ssv2. the stealth status uncertain is just because it's an unknown wave. you should be fine to play it after ensuring splitvid and ssv2
