Should turn verify off with imgburn. Its been known to fail verification even if the disc has burnt properly.

You'd be better off verifying using abgx in its disc mode, and kprobe or nero discspeed to check the quality of the burn.

And with those samsung drives even if they accept the payload tool they often fail to burn still just because the drive simply can not do it.
I was in a similar situation to you (live in Australia) with no ihas drives around, ended up ordering a sony optiarc(which overburns from factory) from amazon through a forwarding company. totaled ~$60aud I havent produced a single verbatim coaster since, so it paid for itself.

Interesting,

Out of interest when you burn successfully do you specify a Layer Break?

I have noticed that this error is happening around 50% so could the error be cause due to an unspecified Layer Break. It could be that Imgburn can't Calculate the correct value???

imgburn pulls the layerbreak from the .dvd file that goes along with your .iso file.
It shows it in your log you posted under

I 17:16:08 Optimal L0 Data Zone Capacity: 2,133,520
I 17:16:08 Optimal L0 Data Zone Method: Copied From Original Disc

which is correct for an xgd3 image. best to leave it to calculate optimal.

Hi all,

First time posting here for me :D

I have an issue which I am hoping others can help me solve.

I am trying to burn a backup of "my" GTA V game and it doesn't want to work at all.

I have so far successfully flashed my Xbox and burned the disks etc but when I go to verify the disk I get several errors which seem fatal as GTA V only installs up to 2gb then freezes.

Please see below for my settings used and for the log >>>>

I 17:16:08 Source File: C:\Users\Miles\Desktop\GTA 5\Disc1\G-T-A-5-D1-Ifru463cx.dvd <-- quick Google search reveals interesting information.
Hi.
Posting here for the first time and asking about how to burn "your" downloaded/pirated game copy is not looking good for you.
There are rules on this forum and they strictly state not to talk about downloaded/pirated games.
I hope you'r going to get banned and maybe learn your lesson.

Regards,

Hi Blind girl.

I should state that to my knowledge it is not illeagle to download a copy of a game that you own.

My original disk is scratched to the point where it is unreadable.

I will how ever take the hint and leave the thread alone here.
