why have you solder it back on for god sake man.

the idea was to leave it of,so you could try and get it to seen in jungleflasher.:eek2:

so you could get the damm drive key of it.

this is your main prob at the moment, getting the drive key.

this is why it states in the tuts everywhere to get a dump of your drive first.

it's always the most important part to do.get the drive key.

take a look at this how to repair it.

Cool man thanks that seems like my solution there.

Ok so from this pic, I should just solder a wire from point A to Point B correct?
And do I leave the Sputnik on? I'm thinking on leaving it on since it seems thats the only trace I messed up on the other side.

It's a MXIC, that previous picture is just an example to fix a trace.

Ok, the probelm now, where I have to solder on the right of the chip is somewhat covered with Epoxy -_- how bout that, and I dont even own a Heat gun... now time to figure that out.

just be gentle and take it easy.you dont want to end up with a dvd player.

i would send it to a pro,if you dont think you can do it.

you only need access to that point.

@dgenx - Hey man, well I haven't done anything really since there is Epoxy on the right side where Im supposed to solder. Going to try and get a Heat Gun tomorrow or so, don't have one available at the moment >_<

Alright, I did the repair on the other side by jumping with a wire.
Drive was recognized and seems like I got the keys finally.

So my question now is, do I leave that wire as is and solder the Sputnik now and continue as normal following tutorial - or remove the wire ?

I'm guessing I leave that repair on and continue as normal. Just wanted to confirm 1st before doing it though ?

i would think you would take one end of the wire of.and solder it to the
broken pad bit of the sputnik switch once you put your switch back on..

this one take of and solder it to the unlock switch

then check it shows up in jf.leave the switch in the norm it should show up .

if all gose well unlock and get a full dump of your drive.by pressing the slim unlock in the mtk flash 32 of jf.

You think maybe I should do the other end ? Because the drive isn't showing that way.
Just giving me the same problem I had before the repair... ???
