Help fix my mistake?

So, when I got my x3, I was overly excited. I flashed my bios with all the switches in the default postion. Which was all off. So my 1959 bios went on the 2mb bank. Aside from that, everything seems to be working fine, but now that the new bios is out, I'd like to get things set up correctly and not waste space.

I also think I should update the backup to FlashBIOS 3.0.3, seeing as I still have the original on there.

Whats the best way to do this?

I am thinking I should flash the backup first from the CL menu; then power off the box, set the switchs correctly (on on off off). then power and boot from the backup... then use the new FlashBIOS to load 2913 onto the 1mb bank...

Does this sound correct, or am I totally screwing up?

Thanks for the help!

yep that sounds about right. just make sure you keep a working bios on the chip, either flashbios or a X3 build. What I've done is keep X3 1959 on one 1mb bank and put X3 2913 on the other as there will be an update to X3 2913 soon. Hope this helps

Awesome. Thanks for the confirmation. I got everything up and running. FlashBIOS 3.0.3 on the backup, and 2913 on bank 1-4, and the other is now currently empty. No problems so far.
