Help - Flashed the 5032 new bios on a v1.2/3 xbox

Being an idiot and rushing things, after installing my new modchip, I've realised that I have flashed the wrong version of the x2 5032 bios to my Xecuter 2.6 CE.

I have a v1.2 or 1.3 xbox, but have loaded the 1.6 bios.

Now it boots up and I can hear the sound but can't see any picture.

Is there anyway I can reflash the bios without buying a programmer.

I haven't seen what the new bios would look like so am not sure if it has an option to reflash, so if it does, could someone give me directions on how to do it please?

For example, with the original cromwell bios, without the display working I would have had to click down 3 times, press A, then insert the bios cd.

Please help!!!!

By any chance does your other bank still boot, either to FlashBIOS or to your dash?

If not, you'll probably want to make a recovery disc. Basically you'll want to put a program that will flash your BIOS (FlashX or EvoX dash) and the BIOS you want to flash. You will also need to understand what buttons you will need to press in order to flash. I know there were a couple of threads in here regarding just this process, not sure what keywords you would want to search on tho. They were from early this summer if not before.

Alternately, know anyone with a modded 1.6? Your chip should be able to boot their system correctly, in which case you could then flash on the "wrong" bios for their box but the right one for theirs. I corrected a chip earlier this year that was exactly the reverse. Someone had flashed the old series 4xxx Xecuter BIOS to the chip on a 1.6. I was able to boot from their chip on my 1.0 box and flash on a 1.6 compatible BIOS.

create a bootdisk of evox dash and bios to be flashed and edit the ini file so that flashing the bios is the only option you have to select from

I did the exact same thing...
I have a v1.2 or v1.3 and I flashed it with x2_5035_v16plus_512 and I should have used x2_5035_vOLD_512 for my BOX version.
I boot up and I hear sound but nothing on screen.

Can some send me some detailed instructions on how to get back so I can reflash with the correct bin?

I just got the Xecuter 2.6CE mod-chip, it is installed and everything. Now i have the problem of flashing my bios ive seen tutorials on how to do it but it doesnt seem to work. It said i had to directly connect my xbox with my PC, but does that mean that i have to open my xbox again?? If so please tell me before i go crazy on this thing. Also i have a LAN swith, 2 BANKS, a Protector, and a MOD. I would really like to know what needs to be on or off while flashing my BIOS

you don,t need to open your xbox
connect with a LAN to your PC (guide on networking with xbox at xbox-scene)
have flash protect off bios switch on bank 1 or 2 whitch ever boots up flashbios screen if you get flashbios only on bank 2 then change the bios switch back to bank 1 without rebooting xbox now flash the chip with right bios
x2 5035 for v1.0 to v1.5 xboxs
x2 5035 v16 plus forv1.6 v1.6b xboxs

NOTE if you have a v1.6 xbox you will need to have bios switch set to bank 1
