help flashing x3 3029 to 2nd 1mb

I have an x3ce on an xbox v1.0. on the first 1mb on on off off off I have bios 2914. I want to place bios 3029 on the 2nd 1mb off on off off off. I have bios x3 3029 and have tried to ftp it the same way I did with 2914 bios on the first bank select, but I keep getting flash halted unknown bios. the chip is unprotected and so are the switches.

the only things I could think of in your situations are: 1) you have bad or corrupted 3029 bios. 2) your X3 cp cable became bad some how 3) you have a bad X3 cp switch 4) flash protection switch on your x3 some how became bad or damaged. 5) one or more of the banks 5678 is(are) bad 6) try flashing 2914 to banks 5678 to see if it goes ( I see multiple posts with people who have v1.0 xboxes have problem loading 3029 for some reason. If 2914 flashes, then I would say to post this problem in the 3029 debug section.
