Help? Frag Lights after flashing Xecuter 3 + Solderless

Okay, I'm feeling a bit helpless here.

I installed the mod just fine and got a flashbios 3.0.0. I used network flashing and flashed with X3 3294.bin. The xbox restarted, and when I turned it back on, I get 3 reboots and red/green flashing lights.

I had not installed my switch yet. I did not know about 3.0.3 so I cant boot to backup, apperently. When I change to (off/on/off/off/off) it no longer frags, but I get a solid orange light with no video at all.

As far as I can tell, the connections are all solid (all the lights are on). I think I just flashed the wrong bios?

Help me?

ok - the backup BIOS should work fine for you. It's possible to boot banks 5678 with the 1.6, but the backup BIOS is far easier.

Boot with Power and Eject, set switches to on on off off off and reflash with the v16 BIOS.

the same thing happend to me but i have a xecuter 2.6 is there anyway that i can fix this. Because i need to use this mod chip so i can redo my HD (put in a new one) i have 1.6a. i had everything installed i just didn't read all the way through and i didn't see turn of flash protect. So now i just get three boots. then a black screen with a red blinking light?
what should i do!

and would the power-eject thing work with mine?

Trying to reboot now, it keeps giving me the 3 reboots + Frag error. Not amount of timing I've tried will get that backup rom to work As far as I can tell. I'm I missing something here? I've hit both at the same time, the power button slightly before, and tried both long and short.

If for some reason, I cant get into the backup bios this way, what's my next step?

Is there a good 1.6 installtion diagram? the ones I've seen are for non 1.6. I want to make sure I'm hitting the right hole. It would seem that I am, from the diagram I got from mod-chips.com, but who knows.

Also, if I hadnt installed it right, wouldnt I have not gotten flashbios?

As far as I can tell, I have everything in the right spots. The d0 wire is next to a small chip just to the right of the adaptor (almost touching it). I checked to see if I had it in all the way, and it seems so. I know I had some trouble with it at first, as well as the E wire. But, I had gotten flashbios up.

I dont know what I did wrong. Everything flashed alright, I just think I used the wrong bios. I cant boot into the backup. I'm starting to get a bit worried that I might have really messed up my chip =(

Thanks for the help, btw.. I appriciate it.

So.. what next?

Looking at everything, it seems to be in place. If I had a better Digi-cam I could post a close up.

But, if I had anything wrong (like the d0) wouldnt I have not gotten flashbios 3.0.0 before I flashed it?

I think I just used the wrong bios.

The test is to try and boot with the chip disabled. The reason is that even if the d0 is in the wrong place, it might be enough to prevent the onboard BIOS from booting and to look to the LPC.

It seems that everything is in the right place. I dont think I've got any pins wrong. I had some trouble getting them _in_ the holes, but they are about as "in" as they're going to get without my forcing them with tools ;)

The d0 is the one right next to that chip in the diagram you showed me, and on mine, it's in the right spot.

Okay, so assuming everything is in the right spot, what would be the next step, or are we certain I have something wrong?

It's a pretty bad pic, but this is my adaptor

If you can tell from that (which I doubt you'll be able to) what's my next step?
