my fsd 2.2 doesnt appear to want to download covers, is ther any way i can put them on the hard drive myself?

Are you connected to a network, does the bottom corner of fsd have an ip?
And yes there is a folder, if forget the name, but its self explanatory based on the name.

Livestrong = true
If it does, either remove the line or change to false.

Did you register with jqe360.com then fill in the user name and password in content settings/cover downloading
Its important also to set your market place options before selecting your game paths
To manually sort your covers enter the ip address of your xbox360 it will take you to freestyle dash login your user id and password will both be fsdhttp unless you have changed the password

You should get the windows program called build.ini and rebuild you launch.ini and make sure you dont have the livestrong set to true
My FSD would not download covers either. It would not get covers without the line explicitly being in the .ini file.
As Martin says add "Livestrong = False" to the .ini and you should be fine.

ok edited it, but cant see to get it onto my freestyle dash at all, transfer keeps failing via ftp
ok so i reinstalled freestyle and made sure livestrong was set to false and bingo it works flawlessly. thanks for your help people

If you type in your local IP in your address bar, you can edit all the info manually. Kind of a pain but works if you can't get FSD to do it.
