Hi guys Iam a noob here and would like your help.

I had a PHAT LT3.0 machine working fine on Live and during the time , I downloaded several games from MS "as you do". Anyhow when the big update was done this year, for some reason my box got updated. Dont ask me how as the children were playing on it. Anyway I was instantly banned following the update and the original FW was reflashed back to the drive (as to be expected). I used the box offline for around a month and it developed RROD. Old box dead so purchased a Slim JTAG/RGH which I have to say is one of the best purchases I have ever made. The Slim works perfect apart from the fact I cannot go online. My problem is that all the games I purchased are on the old hdd along with the DRMs. Is there any way of getting these to work on my new box. I have the transfer cable but ive been told that in order to play the games, I need to transfer the DRMs to the new box. The new box is offline so is there another way to do it.
At this time my old profiles are still on the old hdd. The new machine I have created different local ones

Any pointers would be very appreciated

Regards

You can just copy the /Content/ folder from your old HDD to your new one. This will pick up all profiles too.

Connect the HDD to the new console (you can take it out of the caddy) or connect using a USB Transfer kit to your PC. Party Buffalo USB Drive Explorer will give you access.

Once you have the /Content/ data from the old HDD, you can just FTP it to your new one in the same location.

But as your old console was banned you might have to remove the ban flag from the profile using horizon etc. (if they still impliment that ban method)

I don't think you'll need to remove the flag, but could be wrong.

The new RGH image would have a clean secdata/crl/dae.bin combination, meaning no extra flags would be needed. Since it's RGH'd the flagged files would still be read and once written to (including the profile for achievements), the flag should be removed.

I *may* be off base on this though :)

That's why I suggested it. I'm not sure either ;)
