I am planning to get my 360 glitched. But the thing is, I haven't done it before .. I did all the firmware flashing thing by myself... That being said, Iam not sure if i could do this successfully.. Would be great if someone could help me with the process.. The main problem is, there in no one in my place who could do it for me :(.. So, Iam now planning to take the risk of doing it by myself.. Some help here would be appreciated..

I have a phat jasper .. I dont have any special tools or hardware with me.. As I managed to flash my drive with just a sata cable as its a liteon one.. So, i need to know all the latest tools and hardware that are required to get this RGH done(easily:) ) my myself..

Since, Soldering is the only hardest part(i guess), is team-xcuter's QSB from xconsoles would get the job done easily??. because margin of error is less and its permanent .

What's your location?

You need to be able to use a soldering iron to perform the reset glitch hack - do you feel competent with soldering small components?

I did few soldering practices months back for RGH purpose.. So, I feel little confident with soldering..

BTW, I live in INDIA.

Well, you will be working with small solder pads so having the necessary skills is essential.

Anyway, to perform the reset glitch hack, you need to first check that your console's dashboard version is 14719 or below - go to System Settings>Console Settings>System Info and read where it says Dashboard: 2.0.XXXXX.0, where X = your current dashboard/kernel version).

I suggest you get yourself a NAND-X or JR-Programmer and an Xecuter CoolRunner (Rev. C or CR3 Lite is fine).

Since I don't have my console right now, I couldn't post back the dash version. But, I am pretty sure that my console's dashboard version is bellow 14719..

Is JR-Programmer and an Xecuter CoolRunner(probably CR3 Lite) with soldering iron is all needed to get the RGH done?? What else should i order?? QSB, wires, cables etc..??? BTW, Mine is probably a big block jasper..

You'll also need soldering *flux*, I prefer the QSB Its cleaner looking and you can hook up you JR-programmer anytime you need to without having to resolder wires in, JR-Programmer comes with the CR update cable, Also the CR3lite comes with all wires needed

You will want to practice on a dead motherboard before doing any of the steps to RGH your console. Because of all the small pieces. Depending on if you need corrective lenses to see you may need a magnifier to help. I probably could have used one with mine but I just got really close to the board with my eye. Not while using the iron but before hand. Keep your hand very steady as well. Good luck to you.
