hi people halfway through my first attemp at the rgh on a slim i made a mess of installing the qsb so did it without ie soldered the wires strait to the board i have done the dump x2 compared them and im good to go so i programed the cool runner no problem my question is now im going to install the cool runner can i de-solder the wires for the nand x as they not the best or do i have to keep them????:)

Leave them soldered until you have written your ECC image, you can de-solder them after you have FreeBOOT working as seanr28 said.

You can write an image using XeLL and RawFlash but that doesn't always work.

what a nightmare. all was going fine till i started in stalling the cool runner i had programed it no problem hans so fit it in place and started to solder the coloured wires on and on the first wire the brown one the soldered lifted off the cool runner and f***ed me right up so i have ordered another kit lol and will try again so if i de-solder all i have done and put the box back together will it work ok as before

You can still save your Coolrunner. Solder brown to the underside by scraping F trace. Shouldn't be that difficult:cool2:
