HITACHI 79 HELP - Have I bricked my drive?

I had just hit the button "Send Mode-B" in JungleFlasher 1.90 and realized I didn't have "79_Unlock" burned to a CD. I then connected my internal burner via onboard SATA and scanned for hardware changes (it hasn't been hooked up as I've been using my iHAS124 yet I didn't have the iHAS connected at the time either). In the meantime JF has detected a new drive and here is the log:

Without noticing what JF had reported I ejected the drive and put the freshly burned 79_Unlock CD in my Hitachi and the drive ejects after a few seconds. The mechanics are fine on the drive so I know that isn't the problem.

Any suggestions??

::edit:: This will be my third Hitachi in 6 years that I've bricked, so hopefully someone has a solution to get me outta this mess.

If your drives ejecting then its fine.

Just restart everything again.

Start jungleflasher - Hit send mode B - Let it find your drive - Once found insert you unlock CD (you may need to close windows media player if it opens) - Press unlock 79.

It will then unlock the drive and you go from there.

I do this, if it's any consequence.

Connect the drive and eject the tray. Make sure JF can see it on 0x0000. I put the 79 unlock CD in at this point.

With the tray open, click Send Mode B, then click OK. The tray should close. Give it 5-10 secs then click unlock 79. From here it should be straightforward.

Thanks for the help Martin & Dosk3n. I got everything figured out with the 79 now. Having problems with a 59dj now but I'll start another thread.
