help hitachi 47

My friend wants me to flash his hitachi 47 but he has never been online and did updates to xbox360 should i do updates before flashing.

there is no need to do the updates or you can it is not a problem with regards to a standard firmware flash unless he want to take avantage of the exploit within the kernal but i suggest you take the time to read up about it here
