I am using the blaster 360 to flash my ms25 firmware. I am also using xtreme bootmaker 5 (the newest one). I have a pci via vt6124 installed with the drivers and everything. I am unable to boot to usb so I have been using the ntfsdos cd to boot. When I boot my pc and my 360 I follow Textbooks tut and I select the only drive there which is an ide secondary. I get about to the mdtk r/m orig.bin. Then it says something like =71 but it hangs and to continue I have to press ESC key then it says 53 needs to be 71 user aborted. I have left it on that screen for about an hour and the only way to continue or stop it is to press ESC.

Is there anything I am doing wrong?
Does the AV cable need to be plugged in?
Do I have to have the Xbox 360 plugged into the wall?

I have searched everywhere but the only tut is to flash a 78k using blaster360 not ms25.

Please HELP!

I am also getting port:
170, Master/Slave: a0
Status = 51, should be 70
Err: user break

Invalid Opcode at 5f54 240b 0246 5f54 000f 0ee8 5f7f fff0 0000 0000 0ef2 09b7 fff0

Is there anything I can do to correct this?

Hi,

I've got exactly the same configuration as airforceboricua
- Blaster360
- NTFSCD
- VIA 6421 card
- XtremBootMaker 0.5.3

I've not tried yet to flash but this is what I plan to do:

-Disconnect the power supply of the Xbox360 but leave video
-Attach a power and a SATA cables from the PC to the Blast360
-Switch Blaster360 in PC Mode

-Boot with the NTFSDOS CD
-Type C:
-CD XTREME
-xRead : original firmware must backuped (verify if the files are created)
-Reboot

-Boot with the NTFSDOS CD
-Type C:
-CD XTREME
-xFlash
-And after few seconds, firmware must be updated.

Now the unclear questions:
-Do I have to disconnect the internal DVD from the PC at one stage during the process?
-Do I have to boot with the Samsung connected or just switch on before launching the batch files?
-Or maybe I have to boot with NTFSDos using the Samsung only?

Thanks
