i gat a sil 3512 sata controller chippset but it still dont get in modeb any ideas.....i have a hitachi 0078 but i think that chipset dont work any ides....also my windows detec the drive but the firware donttt'

well, i know for a fact that sil chipsets dont works with 78s. Im pretty positive a VIA chipset will. I have never flashed a 78 but i know that sil chipsets ownt woprk for a fact.

The silicon image chipset should be able to force the drive into modeB but will not work with 360 Firmware Toolbox.

The above linked chipset should work fine.

Yes - get a via chipset (linked above) if it hasnt already been flashed and read the tutorial. All the information is there, just put a little effort into it.

ok man i gat the chipset valready all i need help is flashing my ms28 but i dont undere sand the iprep sh*t do i still gat to use xbm............one more thing is there anyways that i can get my computer to boot up from usb but i cant get into my bios
