It should be fine.

Are you using the xbox for power? Or do you have a kit?

We'll start collecting info to flash the samsung drive.

One more file to try. Its in your hotfile by the name of

final.bin

Okay, final.bin doesnt work too :(

I'm using the xbox for power, don't have a kit.
What I tried was:

1. Plug in sata cable to motherboard (motherboard has 1 other sata hard disk which the OS is on)
2. Set bios mode to Enhanced for the SATA ports (can choose from Disabled or Legacy)
3. Power on the console, then power on the computer
4. Go into JungleFlasher, and MKFlash32 tab.
5. Find the device from the drop down list, usually for me its at 0x170.
6. Click Intro. Intro will freeze the computer for a while and then fail.
7. Attempting to click Read/Write etc all doesn't work.
8. The drive disappears from drop down list! Power cycle doesn't immediately work, have to wait a while (15 mins?) before its detectible again

Should I just go get an X360USB? :p

Most likely need a usb pro. There is another image I uploaded.

Try to use IPREP or DOSFLASH

Those will most likely solve your problem.

Sorry bro, I tried everything.

Thanks for all the help all day :) I know you have been trying very hard to help me with the images and I really appreciate it :)

Anyways, you can keep the hotfile account for your own use too! Hehe :)

I'm trying out the other file which I missed out now. Probably going to order the X360USB tomorrow... but on the overall, its a pretty good learning experience

Download IPREP grab a USB drive and just run the options.

The SAM firmware I uploaded is spoofed and ready to go. So if you can flash that file then write that imagined that worked you are all set.

Iprep be your best options cause it uses dos. You'll get around the freezing issue. Your chipset is working but your OS is giving you problems.

Save you some cash.

No. Iprep works for Samsung. It's atually outdated software.

DosFlash as well. Which ever you prefer. Did you try the other nand?

Yep, tried the other nand, didn't work too. Same christmas lights! Tried all kinds of ways with JungleFlasher but it just wouldn't bulge.

Anyways, iPrep gives me a bootable USB, but no tools nor applications, etc inside. Am I doing something wrong?

Tried copying dosflash16 into the USB but it was like 3am last night when I tried, sooo... I'll try it again later today :)

Will keep u posted on results, thanks!

You type commands. like iprep. Or if Dosflash try Dosflash it will list commands to use then use them.

Hey! sorry for the slow reply, was caught up at work all week. Anyways, I managed to solve the freezings with JF - but I can never seem to get into vendor mode.

after the part which shows MTK Vendor Intro to Master comes up, i click "yes", and immediately power off and on the console - but still, it never ever gets into MTK vendor mode. same with dosflash - can't seem to put this drive into vendor mode!

could it be the chipset problem?

Okay! Phew. FINALLY SOLVED!

Used TilVl's image and flashed my drive via X360USB Pro. For those who're curious, I needed to do the half-open tray trick. It wasn't actually my mobo/chipset which was buggy/faulty or anything - likewise when I used the X360USB Pro.

Everything is all dandy now!

Thanks again for helping me out!
