 I accidentally broke off one of the pins from the pin header and now I can't get the pin header off because the broken pin is actually soldered too far into the board....any help would be appreciated....

ummm....I can't get the pin header out.....otherwise I would just wait for the solderless so I don't screw it up again.....that's the big problem.......

You could go to a nearby electronics supply store and pick up some desoldering braid and desolder the old pin header and replace the old header with a new one.

you mean a solder sucker? ugh...I hate those things....I kept melting the tip of the ones I had at school....but looking at it....it does seem like that'll be my best bet...I really hope the solderless adapter is in stock monday...that'll rock....

If you dont like melting your tip (OOH ER!). Then invest in an electric solder sucker.... Great little tools..

Need to buy a DVD Drive

Not sure where to post this.. but I need a Hitachi GDR-3120L Version 47DJ. I have repaired 12 xbox360's.. however I have one that has a bad drive. Where can I purchase this model? My plan for this one is Jtag or flashed or whatever. I have never done this before.. so i thought I'd get started on it. I have a few people ask if I can do it.. I said NO. NOT YET.. LOL

Anyway I need this drive Hitachi GDR-3120L Version 47DJ. Also I guess I will need a Key? or Flash it? or swap the board? Not sure what the next step is to get it working normally anyway.

Any help for the noob would be appreciated.

Thanks
