Help installing a 200gig maxtor hd

I have a 200gig maxtor hd I want to put in my xbox. I need a step by step guide on how to go about setting it up before i attempt to install. I have a slayer 2.6 boot disc that i want to use, the disc is ready to go.
Do i have to edit some file to set it up? Or do i just hook it up and run the boot disc and setup for a new large hd? Some one familiar with slayer please help me out..
I am running a xecuter 3 chip.

Ok, first off, i havent installed a hd with slayer, but it can be done a lot easier.

1. Hook up to your ORIGINAL xbox hard drive via FXP. This means that your mod has to be in and running off x3 bios.

2.Copy E and C over to computer.

3. Then turn off you xbox, take out old hard drive. Put in new Hard drive. Boot to x3 bios, not to ms dash, that wont work.

4. Format all drives in your hard drive by x3 bios.

5. Reboot to your x3 bios

6. Hook up to your xbox by FXP.

7. Copy C from computer to xbox C

8. copy E from computer to xbox E

9. Copy over any dashboard that you are using. or any other content for your mod.

10. Reboot back to your ms dash. if it does not work, repeat steps 4-9

11. If bios work, then go to your dash, use settings tool to enable G drive.

12. Reboot.

13. Finished


Note: Some of these reboots may not be needed, it is just to be sure that you have the steps working.
