Help installing Slayer Disc

Which begs the question. Anyone (remotely) in the Maryland area that is PROFICIENT at soldering want to take a look see? PROFICIENT meaning you won't screw up my mobo.
If you meet this criteria PM me. If the 2.6 chip fails then I will pay someone to look at my mobo and make any corrections. The closer you are to MD the better for shipping reasons.

GOT IT WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!
I tried a few things.
-First I retouched my soldering again (for a total of 5 times)
-Verified my box would boot with the chip on, and it did. I got the "rox my box" logo and all...just hangs at the Xbox logo with Microsoft underneath it.
-Made sure I was able to reproduce my previous issue (box wouldn't boot OEM games, but would boot to BIOS and dash fine) Box would boot games fine with chip off however.
-Now here's where things got a little weird. Per some of the tips I found by digging EXTENSIVELY around on this forum. I did the following in the order they are listed:
*Boot holding left on the d-pad + X. This is supposed to reset your video settings to NTSC. Still same issue though.
*Corrected my time in the X3 BIOS as well as the MS-Dash. Also turned off the "clock correction" option in the BIOS. STILL same issue.
*Now, while screwing around in the BIOS settings, I accidentally hit the "reset X3 to defaults" option. When the box re-booted I was about to slam the controller in frustration when I noticed the game was loading! I was so happy I damn near cried. J/K Anyway, I closed everything up, made sure after everything was put back in place.
Also stuck my new 80GB Maxtor in there. Crossed my fingers....
-Booted back up and formatted the HD under Disk Tools. So far so good...
-Fired up FlashFXP and copied all my previous Xbox files back onto the HD. A lot of files failed to copy the first time. Not sure why, but I tried again and it worked fine.
-Reboted. Made sure the MS Dash worked fine and all my saves, and soundtracks were in place. Still going good....
-FTP'd EvolutionX onto the HD and was able to boot into that. Good, good....
-Created my "Apps" and "Games" folder under the "F" directory. Knew to do this by diggin around here...
-FTP'd dvd2xbox into the Apps folder. Tried ripping one of my games (legally owned of course) onto the HD to make sure it works. Still good...
-Tried booting Panzer Dragoon up and BAM! Works fine. The load time is quick too.
Retail games still work perfectly.
Thanks for all the help to those that did. To all the newbies I say, READ, READ and READ more. Took me about a week, reading 3-4 hours DAILY to get going. Even though I stumled on a resolution, I wouldn't have got this far if I didn't read. In the end it's always worth it
Anyway people I'm off to foil some some third world terrorist and debunk a "chaos theory". Peace.
